Commercial Overview: StoneKrusher K2

The TYPHON StoneKrusher K2 is the most popular compact jaw crusher in the KONSTRUCTZ series, offering the ideal balance of self-propelled tracked mobility, powerful 22.1 HP V-twin engine performance, and high jobsite productivity.

Powered by the industrial Honda GX690 two-cylinder V-twin gasoline engine, the K2 produces 22.1 HP (16.5 kW) at 3,600 RPM. This substantial power feeds a heavy-duty jaw crusher with an 8.7 × 13.8 inch (220 × 350 mm) feed port, capable of processing chunks up to 7.9 inches (200 mm) in diameter.

Unlike towable units, the K2 features hydraulically driven continuous rubber crawler tracks. Operators can walk the machine directly across rough construction sites, over muddy ground, and right up to rubble stockpiles — eliminating the manual labor of hauling heavy concrete to the machine.

The integrated 59.1 × 19.7 inch feeding conveyor and 15.7-inch wide discharge belt stack finished gravel up to 45.3 inches high. With output sizes adjustable from 0.6 to 2.0 inches (15 to 50 mm) and a production rate of 2 to 5 tons per hour, the K2 is a true self-contained on-site aggregate plant.

Competitive Advantage

Why Contractors Choose the StoneKrusher K2

Three critical engineering decisions that translate into lower operating costs and higher jobsite throughput.

Self-Propelled Rubber Track Drive

Engineering Feature
Hydraulic Crawler Undercarriage
Technical Reason
Independent hydraulic travel motors drive heavy rubber tracks with low ground pressure and up to 1.9 mph tram speed.
Practical Contractor Benefit
Drive the crusher directly up to the demolition pile instead of hauling heavy rocks to a stationary machine.

Honda GX690 V-Twin Power

Engineering Feature
22.1 HP (16.5 kW) Commercial Gas Engine
Technical Reason
Two-cylinder V-twin configuration provides high rotating flywheel inertia to power through hard reinforced concrete.
Practical Contractor Benefit
Instant electric starting, high fuel efficiency, and quiet, low-vibration continuous jobsite operation.

7.9-Inch Maximum Feed Size

Engineering Feature
8.7 × 13.8 in Jaw Inlet Opening
Technical Reason
Wide throat geometry accepts thick concrete chunks, large river boulders, and whole standard brick masonry.
Practical Contractor Benefit
Significantly reduces the time spent sledgehammering or breaking up rubble before feeding the crusher.

45-Inch Elevated Stacking Conveyor

Engineering Feature
Hydraulically Driven Folding Discharge Belt
Technical Reason
Elevated discharge angle allows continuous material stacking without immediate shoveling clearance.
Practical Contractor Benefit
Stack large piles of finished aggregate or discharge directly into dumper beds and small trailers.
